Zensme operates zensme.com and the Zensme VR platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information. By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
Information We Collect
Account Information: username, email address, password (hashed), date of birth. Creator Verification: government-issued photo ID, §2257 records, tax forms (W-9/W-8BEN), and payout details. Payment Information: processed by CCBill/Segpay — we do NOT store full card numbers. Content: VR experiences, messages, tips, and interactions you create. Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, headset type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent. VR Telemetry: headset orientation and gaze direction (for platform functionality only — NOT for advertising profiling). Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and session management; analytics cookies for aggregate platform performance. We do NOT sell personal information. We do NOT scan private messages for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform (contractual necessity); process payments and payouts (contractual necessity); verify creator identity and age 18+ as required by §2257 and COPPA (legal obligation); enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (legitimate interest); detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity (legal obligation / legitimate interest); communicate about your account and support (contractual necessity); aggregate analytics for Platform improvement (legitimate interest); and comply with legal obligations including subpoenas, court orders, and regulatory inquiries (legal obligation).
How We Share Your Information
Payment Processors (CCBill, Segpay): process payments and creator payouts. Identity Verification Services: age verification and §2257 compliance. Cloud Hosting & Storage: platform infrastructure. Analytics Providers: aggregate, anonymized Platform metrics. Law Enforcement / Regulators: when required by valid legal process. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade personal information for third-party marketing.
Adult Content & Age Verification
Zensme is an 18+ platform. We require age verification at account creation via government ID or third-party service. §2257 Record-Keeping Compliance is required for all creators. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors are immediately suspended; if verification fails, the account is permanently terminated and data is deleted. Zensme is NOT directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Data Retention
Account information: duration of account + 2 years after deletion. §2257 Records: as required by law (minimum 5 years after last publication date). Payment records: 7 years (tax/audit compliance). VR content: until deletion by creator or account termination. Server logs: 90 days. Analytics data: 26 months (anonymized).
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, opt out of marketing communications, or withdraw consent. Contact privacy@zensme.com — we respond within 30 days. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale. Zensme does NOT sell personal information. EU/EEA residents (GDPR): rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security: TLS 1.3 for data in transit; AES-256 for data at rest. Strict role-based access — all access logged and audited. PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant processors — we never store full payment card details. In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
Cookies
Essential cookies: authentication, security, session management (session / 30 days). Functional cookies: language preferences, display settings (1 year). Analytics cookies: aggregate usage metrics, anonymized (26 months). Marketing cookies: we do NOT use marketing/advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser or headset settings. Disabling essential cookies may impact Platform functionality.
International Data Transfers
Zensme operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. We implement Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards for cross-border data transfers as required by applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We will notify users of material changes via email and/or Platform notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
